Pinion seal debug and disassembly...

We started off w/some parking brake fine tuning adjustments.

Grabbed a pic of the rear carrier #'s

We pulled off the rear/passenger wheel to check the possible wheel cylinder leak.

Good news.  Dry as a bone!

Def. not the wheel cylinder, that slight leak seems to be coming from the trailing arm seal.

Removed the rear carrier bracket ("snubber") bolt

And the 2 threaded bolts in the front of the carrier bracket

Loosen the long rear bolt from the carrier bracket, and...
And the carrier bracket pivots down and away

Pinion seal continued to leak - even during the process today...

Close up of the pinion nut (and # of exposed threads, for when we reinstall the new one).

Shifter linkage cotter pin was rubbing.  We also lubricated all the shifter linkage.  I believe we have some correct spring retainers (to replace the cotter pins).
